Ad Astra today announced that it has secured a new contract to provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting, foreign language interpreting and translation services to the Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) through the District of Columbia Office of Contracting.
The Department of Behavioral Health which is in charge of planning, implementing, and overseeing a full array of mental health and substance use disorder services (behavioral health care) in a variety of settings has decided to retain Ad Astra to provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting, foreign language interpreting and translation services to District residents who are limited or non-English speaking and residents who are Deaf or are enrolled in or seeking information or services from the public behavioral health system.
“We are honored to be selected as a prime on this contract again and take seriously the confidence exhibited by the District of Columbia Office of Contracting in choosing us to continue on this important program,” said Ad Astra’s Head of Business Development. “We will continue to work with the DC DBH to develop rapid and effective behavioral health care solutions with professionalism, rigor and innovation. We have been providing services to the DC DBH for the past five years, and we look forward to strengthening our relationship with them” he added.
